charging battery

How can i start charging the battery for my Dell Inspiron 8500 (laptop)? I've had it in the laptop since last night and the power meter says its still at 3%... It did not charge at all... -- edster

Replace the now defunct battery as it has approached the end of its useful lifecycle.
